Bio:

Andrew Simonet is a co-founder of Headlong Dance Theater. His works with the company include The Story of a Panic (2001), ST*R W*RS (1998), Custom Made (1995), and Commander (1993). Headlong has been presented at many venues locally, and the company has toured throughout Pennsylvania and to New York and Barcelona. They have received funding from the Pew Charitable Trust, the Pennsylvania Cultural Fund, The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the NEA. In 1999, Headlong was the first Philadelphia company to receive a Bessie Award in choreography. The company also organizes and hosts Dance Camp, a yearly summer dance festival in Philadelphia.
